One of our largest design projects delivered a new planting scheme for the gardens of an historic manor house in the Cotswolds. Previously, the planting of annual bedding in the gardens lacked impact, did little for the local wildlife and were resource-intensive to maintain. Our solution offered a fresh approach – rejuvenating the gardens through the use of sustainable and impactful planting designs.
We came up with planting plans for different areas of the garden that also maintained a sense of cohesion throughout. We modernised the planting, providing impact through the use of bold drifts of grasses and perennial planting whilst retaining much of the existing yew topiary and respecting the historical nature of the house and grounds.
