There’s something so satisfying about pattern and symmetry in nature, and we loved bringing this approach to this client’s garden. This terraced garden - centred on the principles and elements of good Italian design - opens out into English countryside. With the garden sitting on a slope, terraces were created to offer more useable space and planting opportunities here. The dry stone walling in our design ensured the garden sits comfortably in its Cotswolds surroundings, with strong lines and features like stone urns giving an Italianate feel.
